I returned to live in New Plymouth in 2020 after several years in Auckland, to renew many friendships and to contribute to community life here.

My life experience includes officiating at funerals for over 30 years, sometimes when loss is expected, and sometimes in tragedy. This has allowed me to cross paths with many different people who all have a unique story.

I can help your family to frame memories in a way that is sensitive to the values and beliefs of your loved one, and to focus on what you treasure about the person being farewelled.

My varied vocational background includes youth work, negotiation and non-profit leadership, including many public-speaking and performance roles.

I will help you celebrate your loved family member for the gift they were to you.

I am happily married to Paula, with five adult children and two granddaughters, and I enjoy spending time now with my wife dancing & singing.
